Lingyan Temple, a scenic spot in Jinan, was founded in the Eastern Jin Dynasty and has a rich Buddhist heritage with a history of 1600 years. Therefore, Wang Shizhen, a writer in the Ming Dynasty, said that "Lingyan is the most secluded place on the back of Mount Tai, and it is not impossible not to visit Mount Tai in Lingyan". Along the way from the memorial archway in Lingyan Scenic Area, there are picturesque scenery on both sides of the mountain road and many scenic spots, including Jiming Mountain, Stone Square in Lingyan Scenic Area, Tongling Bridge, Kongming, Yuhuayan, Guan Jie Pavilion, Xinshiqiao, Ten Marie Laure Gigon and the top of steep slope. There are 36 temples in the temple, 18 pavilions. Among the cultural relics, there are 40 mud arhats, tomb pagodas, Huichong pagodas, Bizhi pagodas, Jicui Zhengmeng Temple, Daxiong Hall, Yushu Pavilion, and stone carvings and steles of past dynasties.
Xiao Chun, Chi Jing: Under the cliff on the east side of the Thousand Buddha Hall, Zhuoxi Spring, Baihe Spring and Shuanghe Spring are adjacent, commonly known as "Five Steps and Three Springs". Spring water gushes from the stone stream, which is sweet and inexhaustible all year round, and is injected into the mirror-like stone pool. This landscape is the famous "mirror pool spring dawn";
Fangshan is green: from afar, Fangshan looks like a cliff, and the Red Defense Hall hangs on a steep green wall. According to textual research, the precipice on the temple is also called "Ji Cui Yan" because it is rainy and covered with moss in summer, which is also one of the scenic spots of Lingyan Temple.
Qing Xue, Kongming: Seen from the south of Chongxing Bridge, the rocks and teeth are staggered, and the mountain is like a building. There is a round hole on the cliff, which is as big as a wheel, and the north and the south are connected, like a high-hanging mirror and a bright moon in the sky. This is a Confucius Mountain, or Mingdong, which is full of mythical interest. Whenever it snows in Chuqing in winter, the mountains around the cave are covered with snow, and the only hole passes through it and sees through the bright sunny days. This is one of the scenic spots of Lingyan, "Kongming Qing Xue".
