Xu, the chairman of Hangzhou Boko Biotechnology Co., Ltd., is known as "the mother of China highland barley". He once worked in the National Institutes of Health and has two technical patents (cell wall-breaking extraction technology; Instant drying technology at room temperature) is the author of Magic Wheat Green (published by Zhejiang Science and Technology Publishing House).

In 2009, Boku.com successfully listed on the New York Stock Exchange, and began to enter foreign markets, attracting the attention of foreign investors.
