Brief introduction of Wendeng Central Hospital in Weihai City
Wendeng Central Hospital in Weihai was founded in the initial stage of the most difficult 194 1 in War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression, and was then called Donghai Hospital. After decades and generations of efforts, Weihai was established in June 1987, and the hospital was renamed as Wendeng Central Hospital in Weihai. At present, there are more than 300 employees/kloc-0, including nearly 800 officially established employees and open beds 1200. It is a comprehensive prefecture-level hospital integrating medicine, teaching and research. 1994 was approved by the Shandong Provincial Health Department as a third-class hospital, and 1999 was established as a baby-friendly hospital and an international emergency rescue center network hospital by the Ministry of Health and the World Health Organization (WHO) respectively. In 2003, it was approved by Shandong Provincial Health Department as a non-directly affiliated hospital of Weifang Medical College. In 2004, the hospital successfully passed the ISO900 1 quality management system certification.
