2. Application conditions Candidates who participate in the assessment should meet the following conditions: (1) Complete the prescribed clinical practice and clinical ability training in accordance with the requirements of the standardized training rules for general practitioners and the standardized training program for residents in our province . (2) Pass the 2014 Jiangsu Provincial Resident Physician Standardized Training and pass the corresponding theoretical unified examination. 3. Assessment Form and Time Arrangement This year’s clinical skills assessment will continue to implement a unified assessment model, unified assessment plan, unified assessment period, and unified scoring requirements. Standardized training and clinical skills assessment for general practitioners and residents are carried out simultaneously. The proposition and examination work are organized and implemented by the health bureaus of each city. Hospitals directly under the department, ministry- and provincial-affiliated hospitals (including units in Ningxia) that participate in standardized training in our province, hospitals in the military units stationed in Jiangsu, and hospitals outside the system such as private hospitals, schools, factories and mines, are all managed by the health department of the province or city where they are located in accordance with the requirements of territorial management. The pass rate of the clinical skills assessment (pass rate = number of qualified persons/number of actual participants in the exam) is based on the province and municipality as the statistical unit, and shall not exceed 95%.
