The Royal Plaza is famous for its Royal Mosque, Hicks Rotufora Mosque, the gorgeous portico of Iyehi, Geissel and Tim Reid Palace in the15th century. Many buildings are decorated with ceramics, and the decoration technique is typical Islamic style, that is, full of palindromes, sculptures and dense, complex and regular three-dimensional modeling. All these reflect the social and cultural life of Persia during the Safi Dynasty.
