Three rely on:

One is the level of science and technology. To improve the level of landscape architecture, scientific management must be implemented. Therefore, since the beginning of this year, the Municipal Bureau of Landscape Architecture has organized universities, scientific research units and landscape experts in this system to hold four seminars on landscape management and protection technology, and conducted various research and demonstration on the problems existing in the landscape management and protection of various flowers and trees in our city. At the same time, organize professionals to study advanced management technology in Zhuhai, Shenzhen, Qinhuangdao, Beijing, Xi and other places. On this basis, a new Technical Specification for Landscape Management and Protection was studied and formulated, which innovated the concept of greening construction management and used to guide landscape management and greening engineering construction.

The second is to promote by activities. Landscaping management and protection is a normal work, involving drought-resistant watering, pruning and shaping, pest control, replanting, sanitation and cleaning. The management and protection units involved include bureau units, district units and many market-oriented professional management and protection enterprises, and the management and protection sections cover the streets inside and outside the city. Therefore, it is difficult to form a joint force at work only by general call. In order to promote the overall management and protection work, this spring, the Municipal Bureau of Landscape Architecture organized a garden management and protection conference, launched a drought-resistant watering surprise week in summer, and launched a centralized street greening and remediation activity in autumn. At present, the "Double Excellence and Double First" creation activity is being carried out. Taking different forms of activities as the starting point, it has created a momentum, promoted the work as a whole and achieved good results.

The third is to promote implementation by the system. At present, the vast majority of garden management and protection in our city are socialized, and management and protection units pursue their own benefits. They should manage well, with high cost and small profit, while the management department pursues social benefits and landscape effects. The contradiction between them is difficult to unify. In order to ensure that the management and protection measures are put in place, this year, based on the original assessment methods, the Municipal Bureau of Landscape Architecture implemented the supervision interview system, the survival of the fittest system, the last elimination system, the hierarchical management system, and the "double excellent and double first" assessment system. Constantly innovate and improve the working mechanism, so that units with good management and protection are praised and rewarded, and units with poor management and protection are criticized and punished. For example, the supervision and interview system requires the management and protection assessment office to check the city's greening and management once a week. Found the problem, immediately issued a notice of supervision to the management and protection unit, put forward the rectification standards and time limit. If the rectification is not completed due, the competent director will talk with the leaders of the management and protection unit. Those who interview more than three times a year will be disqualified at the end of the year. Since the implementation of the supervision interview in September, 43 supervision notices have been issued, all of which can be rectified within a time limit with remarkable results.

Through the implementation of the above measures, the urban greening environment and sanitation are cleaner, the litter is obviously reduced, the plants are missing and replanted, the hedge pruning tends to be fine, a large number of model streets emerge, and the overall landscape level is greatly improved.
