IV. Lifting and installation

The molding machine needs to be transported to the designated location using cranes, forklifts and other lifting equipment or rolling rods. If a crane is used, the crane cable must bear a weight of more than 5 tons.

2. Adjustment and assembly of the molding machine

① Adjustment of the flat roller

A. Pressure adjustment: By rotating the nut of the bearing seat press screw, the press screw rises and falls, driving the bearing to rise and fall, and the two bearing seats are adjusted independently.

B. Axial adjustment

4. Basic principles of molding adjustment

C. Correctly adjust the horizontal position of the rolling mill

Check horizontally whether the center line of the upper milling mill of each frame is horizontal and whether there is an inclination phenomenon with one end high and one low. Adjust the level through the pressing device.

D. Correctly adjust the roller axis of each frame

Adjust each horizontal roller and vertical roller seam according to the hole pattern and process regulations to meet the needs. If the gap is too large, the deformation will be insufficient, and the steel strip will slide and twist left and right in the groove. If the gap is too small, the forming load will increase and the machine body will be damaged.

E. Check whether the diameter, hole size and shape of the rolling mill comply with the regulations, and check whether the surface of the rolling mill is smooth and free of defects.

F. The roller should be installed and fixed tightly

The roller should be installed and fixed tightly. Axial movement and radial runout are not allowed. Check whether the bearings are damaged or loose, and check whether the frame is fixed on the bed. Firmly, the connection between the cover and the base is firm.

G. Whether the roller rotates flexibly

Check whether the bearing is intact, whether the clearance is appropriate, and whether the roller rotates flexibly.

5. Inspections during normal production

During normal production, check frequently: whether the motor, gearbox and worm gear box are overheated, whether the operation is normal, whether the universal joint and coupling are in good condition.
