Lanzhou General Hospital of Lanzhou Military Region is a large comprehensive hospital integrating medical treatment, scientific research, teaching and health care. 1939 was founded in Yan 'an, the holy land of revolution, and it is a hospital with a glorious history. Its predecessor was the Eighth Route Army Hospital, and later it was renamed Bethune International Peace Hospital General Hospital. 1949 was renamed the First Hospital of Northwest Military Region after being stationed in Lanzhou, and 1955 was renamed Lanzhou General Hospital.
