Planting techniques of Dendrobium candidum in Guizhou
1, propagation method of Dendrobium candidum The seeds of Dendrobium candidum can be taken out from the fruit, easily disinfected with potassium permanganate, and then put into a nutrient-rich culture medium. In a few days, you can see the seeds of Dendrobium candidum grow seedlings. Then Dendrobium candidum with more stems can be propagated by dividing plants, removing dead branches, cutting off skills, cutting off long fibrous roots, keeping the old roots about 3 cm, and then dividing the stems into 4-5 branches, which can be planted as seed stems.

2. Dendrobium candidum can be planted after being planted and propagated. April-June is the planting time every year. At this time, the temperature is 12 ~ 25℃ and the humidity is high. Straighten the plot first, then use fertilizer to prepare nutrient soil, and then plant the stems of Dendrobium candidum on the plot for the young buds to absorb nutrients and water and promote the growth of their young roots.

3. Planting management During the growth of Dendrobium candidum, the temperature should be reasonably controlled at 15 ~ 28℃, which can significantly improve the growth rate. Dendrobium candidum can be planted in greenhouse in winter, and constant temperature measures should be added in greenhouse to ensure its safe overwintering. Dendrobium candidum is not suitable for growth in strong light environment, so it is necessary to pay attention to proper shading, reasonably control the humidity at about 60 ~ 70%, water more at ordinary times in drought, and make up the sun at seedling stage.

4. Trimming Dendrobium candidum will enter a closed period during its growth. Generally, pruning and trimming should be carried out, and weak stems, diseased stems and diseased roots should be removed as soon as possible. After planting for 6-8 years, Dendrobium candidum will be re-branched and propagated according to the growth situation.
