Longjing is a traditional famous tea of Han nationality, belonging to green tea, ranking first among the top ten famous teas in China. Longjing tea is produced in Xihu District, Hangzhou City, Zhejiang Province. It was created by Han tea farmers in Song Dynasty, and has a history of 1200 years. Longjing tea is green in color, rich in aroma, sweet and refreshing, and looks like a sparrow tongue, which is characterized by "green color, strong fragrance, sweet taste and beautiful shape". West Lake Longjing tea is flat, with tender leaves, neat strings, uniform width, yellow and green, smooth feel, one leaf or two leaves per bud. West Lake Longjing tea is fragrant and tastes more fresh, mellow and refreshing. Longjing tea contains more amino acids, catechins, chlorophyll, vitamin C and other ingredients than other teas, and is rich in nutrition.
