Founded in 1956, it is one of the first four Chinese medicine institutions of higher learning in China after the birth of New China. From 65438 to 0993, Shanghai College of Traditional Chinese Medicine was renamed "Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine", which was one of the earliest universities in China. In 2000, the former Shanghai Medical College was merged into our school.
