Pay for clothes first
This kind of contract is not necessarily deceptive, but it is illegal and invalid to collect clothing fees for less than one month. According to Article 9 of the Labor Contract Law, the employer shall not detain the employee's identity card and other documents, and shall not require the employee to provide a guarantee or collect property from the employee in other names. The Labor Law also stipulates that employers are obliged to provide necessary working conditions for workers, and providing work clothes is one of the necessary working conditions for workers. Employers can't transfer production costs to workers, so they can't charge workers for work clothes.
