In 2006, Milan International Fashion Week, China clothing brand made its first public appearance in Milan Fashion Week. Lily from Shanghai Silk Group and silique from Guangdong Silk Group, two China brands, presented new clothes to be launched in spring and summer of 2007 at Milan Fashion Week. Two young designers chose China mulberry silk as the main fabric, representing two different styles of youth and solemnity.
At present, China's clothing industry has achieved great success, but there is still a big gap to be strong. We should go abroad and learn from foreign successful experiences. Lack of independent design style is the common weakness of China garment enterprises. People who go deep into the clothing industry will clearly realize that the overall talent team in the clothing industry is very poor, including talents in production management, design, marketing and advertising.
China is the largest clothing consumer and the largest clothing producer in the world, but the overall development of China's clothing industry is very uneven. The products produced by Guangdong, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Shandong, Fujian, Shanghai and other southeast coastal provinces account for more than 80% of the national market share. The clothing industry in the central and western regions is still very backward.
