The national standard "Down Clothing" (GB/T 14272-202 1) defines down clothing as clothing with down as filler, and the down content is not less than 50%. The cashmere content is the percentage of blossoming cashmere, immature cashmere, similar cashmere and damaged cashmere in down.

GB/T 1 4272-2021Down Clothing, which was officially implemented on April12022, changed the "down content" to "down content", which refers to the weight percentage of down and down, and the "down content" is the quality of down. It can be seen that the parameter of down content formulated by the new national standard can more intuitively characterize down quality and help the high-quality development of the industry.

According to the National Economic Industry Classification and Code (GB/T4754-20 17) formulated by the National Bureau of Statistics, China's down garment manufacturing industry is classified as textile and other woven garment manufacturing industry (181) under the clothing industry (National Bureau of Statistics code).

Specific changes of down jacket standards in the new national standard

1, change "cashmere content" to "cashmere content". Down content and down content are both important indexes to evaluate down quality: down content refers to the mass percentage of down and down fiber; Wool content refers to the mass percentage of wool in down. Labeling down content can represent down quality more intuitively, and it is also in line with the international market.

2. Distinguish down types. The types of down only need to distinguish ducks and geese, and the color (gray or white) can no longer be distinguished. Generally speaking, the quality of down is not the color, but the internal structural space of down and the fineness of down fiber.

3. Back drilling evaluation. The evaluation method of anti-drilling velvet is changed from the original standard fabric pile friction method to the ready-to-wear box method, which evaluates the anti-drilling velvet of the finished product as a whole and is more in line with the actual wearing experience of consumers.

4. Increase ecological security indicators. For down stuffing, the assessment requirements of alkyl phenol (AP) and alkyl phenol polyoxyethylene ether (APnEO) are increased, which meets the relevant standards of foreign eco-textiles, and meets the needs of sustainable development of the industry and green and healthy consumption of consumers.
