From the beginning, slashing in the snow was quite retro. There is no high-density information output of the big scene, but the story of life is selected. In the process of "walking" between Xu Fengnian and Jane Jiuhuang, a picture of rivers and lakes is slowly spread out. The temple is high, the rivers and lakes are far away, the dark tide is surging, and the swords and shadows are intertwined. After the prologue, the dream of the chivalrous man has been secretly opened.
The combination of yellow rice wine, sword shadow, the meaning of home and country, the feeling of the temple, the heart of a pure child, chivalrous and courageous, and the theory of aristocratic family not only reminds the audience of the long-forgotten martial arts soul, but also evokes the audience's yearning for chivalrous rivers and lakes and rekindles their martial arts dreams. In addition, it is worth mentioning that the traditional oriental aesthetics displayed in the play as a whole, from the pictures full of ink and wash national style to the music that fully shows the beauty of blank space, has become an indispensable part of this martial arts dream. However, Xu Fengnian's dream of rivers and lakes for the audience is somewhat different from the past. Taking the lines of A Knife in the Snow as an example, compared with previous similar works, the whole is more youthful, the tone of light comedy is quite pleasing, and it is easier to convey the more modern core interpretation of the "chivalrous man" in this new river and lake dream.
Disadvantages of A Sword in the Snow The martial arts drama highlights freehand brushwork. However, its "freehand brushwork" expression is relatively simple, almost all of them are slow-motion and close-up, and the "three-beat" editing of action sending, action focusing and action result is basically its complex action design. Although accompanied by melodious pipa and tense drums, it is quite artistic, but the overly simple martial arts drama can't hold up, and freehand brushwork has become a "flower shelf."
