Both hyperbola and neutral grey are based on D &;; B to achieve accurate pixel-level retouching, but the implementation method is slightly different, and the goal and effect are the same. First of all, let's figure out the method of hyperbola retouching. Step 1, create a new black filled layer, and set the blending mode of the layer to color, as shown in the figure below, so that the color image can be converted into a gray image.

Step 2, create a new black filled layer and set the blending mode of the layer to soft light, as shown in the figure, to darken the gray image and reflect the details of human skin.

In fact, many teachers say that the second step is to set the blending mode of layers to overlay, but we see that the effect of overlay is very strong, that is, it produces details, but it also covers up the details and looks less intuitive. In contrast, the second best is the soft light mode, with less intense response and complete light and shade details, as shown below.

With the soft light mode, the contrast is enhanced, the contrast between light and dark is increased, and the details of the skin defects of the characters are enhanced, but unlike the superposition mode. The third step is to brighten and darken the light and dark part of the curve to increase the contrast of the picture.

According to the previous three steps, create a new group named observer for retouching observation. This is just the preparation before retouching!

Step 4, under the viewer, two curve adjustment layers are established on the image, one is to brighten the dark part and the other is to darken the bright part.

There must be tools for retouching! Step 6, find the brush tool in the toolbox and set it to white. Brush size should be as large as pixels, and opacity and pressure should be reduced as much as possible. In the process of retouching, the brush size, opacity and pressure will change flexibly, and the decoration on the layer mask should be adjusted according to the shallower and deeper curves. The next step is pixel-by-pixel and pixel-level retouching.

Speaking of neutral gray retouching, naturally, it is the same as hyperbolic retouching, and the method is similar. First, hyperbolic observers are treated as neutral gray in the same way. Next, create a new layer under the viewer and fill it with gray, as shown.

The filled gray is exquisite, and all three values of RGB are neutral gray of 128, which can effectively realize the retouching method of neutral gray.

You also need to set the blending mode of the layer filled with neutral gray to soft light. Then, select the brush tool on the toolbox and set it to white. Other settings are adjusted to the same hyperbola, and the great cause of neutral gray retouching can begin immediately. Below is the trace of brush strokes on the layer filled with neutral gray, as shown in Figure 2-3, and a delicate and perfect photo came into being.

Focus on the problem here, don't spend it on endless retouching. I made an unfinished neutral grey retouching, and the left repaired and the right unrepaired are in sharp contrast, which shows that the method is delicate and true. As shown in the figure, it is also quite time-consuming. Give it a try! The so-called slow work makes fine work.

Some people say that neutral gray retouching is an extension of hyperbola retouching and is more effective. However, the difference between this method and hyperbola retouching is that the color needs to be adjusted or recolored after retouching to get a complete and good effect.

Third, Photoshop high and low frequency stripping method

High and low frequency crust is completely different from hyperbola and neutral ash, and its function is only crust. Of course, it also improves aging to some extent. It is a combination of Gaussian blur and Gao Fancha retention filter, and can also be understood as the form of anti-Gao Fancha retention.

Step 2, select the layer named low frequency, execute the surface blur command, increase the radius and threshold as much as possible, and the threshold is 1/3 of the radius. Blur the low-frequency layer image, but don't blur the boundary, as shown in the figure below.

Step 3, select the layer named high frequency, execute the command of applying image, and set them one by one, as shown in Figure 3-3, and get the same effect as Gao Fancha. Then, blur the surface. When the command is executed for the first time, set the radius as the threshold, and the threshold will be reduced to the minimum, and the phase will be reversed after confirmation.

Step 4, delete the low-frequency layer, create a mask on the high-frequency layer and fill it with black. Wipe dull parts and rough parts with 100% white brush, and cover them one by one, which also has the miraculous effect of acne!

That's the key. Step 5, after merging the layers, copy two layers, still named low frequency and high frequency respectively. At this time, the low-frequency layer performs Gaussian blur command to blur the whole image, as shown in the following figure.

Step 6: Select the layer named high frequency, execute the image application command to set it as before, then perform Gaussian blur, and then reverse it after confirmation, delete the low frequency layer, create a mask on the high frequency layer and fill it with black, and wipe off the five senses with a 100% white brush, which will not affect the light and dark boundary, ensure the necessary clarity, and complete the high and low frequency skinning, as shown in the figure.
