abstract
Beijing Subway Line (Current) 65438+ After the deterioration of Sino-Soviet relations in the late 1950s, China began to plan to build subways in three important cities, namely Beijing, Shenyang and Shanghai, as a means of war preparation and defense combining peacetime and wartime. other
According to the original design scheme of Beijing subway, its main purpose is to prepare for war and evacuate, while taking into account urban traffic. There is an underground passage connection between Chegongzhuang subway station and Guanyuan (there is a wartime command center underground), and there is an underground passage network, which can go all the way from underground to Changqiao (the location of People's Republic of China (PRC) Ministry of National Defense, west of Beihai Park), Zhongnanhai and the Great Hall of the People. In case of war, China leaders can take refuge in Xishan by subway. For this reason, Chegongzhuang Station is decorated with marble, which is higher than other stations.
In order to facilitate China leaders and foreign tourists to visit the China Revolutionary Military Museum, there is an escalator at the northeast entrance of the Military Museum Station of Beijing Metro 1 Line, which is one of the first three escalators produced in People's Republic of China (PRC). The other two escalators are installed at Beijing Railway Station and Capital Airport.
Another reason why the Beijing subway has not been opened for a long time after its completion is safety. Although the civil engineering of 1 line has already been completed, there have been security risks in the electrical system of Beijing subway for a long time. 1969 1 1 year1October, the electrical protection of the traction power supply system in Beijing subway was imperfect, which caused a fire, killing three people, injuring more than 300 people and burning two subway vehicles. In 1973, Premier Zhou Enlai pointed out that the subway can't be put into operation formally unless the subway fire is solved. The electrical protection of DC traction power supply system in Beijing subway has been studied for nearly 10 years, especially for nearly 200 tests in 1980. 1982, after expert appraisal, the fire protection problem of the subway main protection system has been basically solved, and the first phase of the subway project has officially passed the national acceptance and put into operation.
