The black part of the foreground subtitle may be transparent.

JPG can't express the transparency information of pictures, but PNG or GIF can.

If the subtitles that need to be left are not made of black, only the background is black.

Then put the picture on the video track and select "Mixed Mode-Brighten".

The software will automatically filter out the black parts and keep the non-black areas to show the fusion effect.
