In the whole history of national culture development, the indigenous Yi people in Luoping have lived and multiplied in this land for 3000 years, and have been in a dominant position for about 800 years, creating a unique national culture. The existing "Xuantong Dashu" and "prodigy Dashu" are an encyclopedia of ethnic minorities that integrates philosophy, religion, astronomy, geography, astrology, medicine, calendar, meteorology and morality. The festivals of the Yi people last for three days from June 23rd to 25th of the lunar calendar. At this time, young men and women of Yi nationality in each village will gather in the singing field to sing, wrestle, race horses, light torches and dance traditional songs and dances. There are mainly sacrificial dances in yi dance, such as the dance of evil and the dance of weapons, also known as juggling. Weapon dance is also a sacrificial dance, which is mainly composed of broadsword, three-pointed fork, stick, nunchakus and Jin Qiangun.

Buyi people were called Sha people and Zhong family in a Baiyue Chinese book in ancient China, but Buyi people were disgusted with this name. They call themselves Buyi or Buyi Rao. The Buyi people in Luoping have language but no writing, accounting for 80% of the Buyi people in the province, so Luoping has the reputation of "the hometown of Buyi people". Buyi people live by mountains and rivers, with gentle and elegant temperament, and are modest and wise to people. Their clothes are mainly blue, black and blue. The traditional folk festivals mainly include the two-person turn festival and the "room for the elderly" on February 2 and March 3 of the lunar calendar. The main dances are bat dance and stilt dance.
Miao ethnic group
Luoping Miao people call themselves "white people" in their own language and writing. According to Luoping County Records, "the costumes are the same as those of Han people, but the customs are different. Some Miao women are educated and officials", while Miao women's costumes are well preserved, with white seedlings stacked in linen skirts and white linen wrapped around their legs, short and not buckled, with left and right lapels crossed on their chests, tied with red lines and worn on their heads. These dresses are like blue. Flower seedlings are different, and married and unmarried women can be distinguished from each other from the bun. There are many traditional festivals of Miao nationality, the most distinctive one is the "Huashan Festival" on the fifteenth day of the first month, and the dance is Lusheng Dance.
the Huis
There are Hui people and Hui people in Luoping, but they are not popular languages, and they are only used for worshipping Hui democracy (imams) and recording their own national historical facts. There are mosques in areas where Hui people live in compact communities, and worship is a compulsory course for believers. Believers should practice the five pillars of Islam, namely, reading, ritual, fasting, attending classes and pilgrimage. Due to historical reasons, there is no folk dance in Luoping Hui nationality, but it is more integrated into Han art. Luoping Lantern Festival
