The blow-molded plate has a molded hollow cavity and includes an upper wall body forming an upper surface and a lower wall body forming a lower surface. The raw material of blow-molded paper is mostly expanded polystyrene. It has many colors and is mainly used to produce low-density polyethylene vials. But we can usually buy them in stationery stores or art stores, because they can be used as stickers or art decorations.
At first, the process of blowing paper was mainly used to produce low density polyethylene bottles. Until the late 1950s, with the birth of high-density polyethylene and the development of blow molding machines, the application of blow molding technology was more extensive, and the application of blow-molded paper was more common. The manufacturing process of blow-molded film is very similar to that of blow-molded hollow products in principle.
Characteristics of blow-molded paper
The raw materials of blow-molded paper and KT board are expanded polystyrene, but different components and production methods have different properties. Blow-molded paper is softer than KT board and has different strength in different directions.
Blow-molded paper has a lot of fillers. After extrusion, it is blown into a cylinder and then pressed into a sheet, so the surface is silky and easy to split into two layers. KT board basically has no filler, which is much thicker than blow-molded paper and has higher strength. If peeled, the strength difference in different directions is very small.
The material of blow-molded paper can combine the advantages of both, which not only has the fireproof characteristics of fireproof board, but also has the advantages of light weight, low cost, easy processing, basic automation of production process, smooth surface of material and so on.
