tool

The tools needed for wallpaper pasting are: brushes, towels, sponges, sandpaper, knives, scrapers, tape measures, glue containers, etc.

Paper-cut wallpaper

You need to measure the height of the wall before cutting the length of the wallpaper. Don't cut the floral wallpaper about 5 to 8 cm according to the height of the wall, because it is used for trimming up and down; For floral wallpaper, the symmetry of the pattern should be considered, so the cutting length should be increased according to the actual situation, generally 8 to 10 cm long.

brush coating

Brush the wallpaper glue on the back of the cut wallpaper with a brush, and pay special attention to the surrounding edges to ensure the construction quality. After the coated wallpaper is folded in half with glue for 5- 10 minutes (be careful not to apply external force, so as not to crease the wallpaper, especially the harmless cloth), it can be pasted after the glue completely penetrates into the bottom of the paper. Brush several wallpapers at a time and stick them in order.

Wallpaper structure

During wallpaper construction, the first wallpaper is usually pasted from top to bottom at the doorway or the shady corner, and the wallpaper is gently leveled with a scraper from top to bottom and from inside to outside to squeeze out bubbles and excess glue, so that the wallpaper is flat and close to the wall.

Trimming and cleaning

Cut off the excess wallpaper at the upper and lower ends with sharp edges to avoid burrs. When cutting some wallpaper, it's best to use Japanese imported blades that sell 1.5 yuan. Wipe the glue left on the surface of the wallpaper thoroughly with a sponge to prevent the wallpaper from turning yellow. If bubbles are found on the surface of the wallpaper after drying, cut it with a knife, inject glue and flatten it (preferably with a syringe).
