Folk songs with fixed lyrics are generally sung in Pingqiang, which is popular in both urban and rural areas. The melody is smooth and delicate, mostly narrative, involving a wide range of social life, and the lyrics are mostly oral, such as Embroidering a Pouch, Picking Tea Upside Down, and Butterfly Lovers.

dragon dance

One of the traditional dance forms of the Spring Festival, commonly known as "playing with dragon lanterns", is often performed at night. Bamboo and hemp are divided into dragons, divided into 9 to 12 segments, and pasted into dragon scales with paper. When playing dragon dance, each node has a candle lamp, and the dragon dancer holds it up with a long pole. With the teasing of the person holding the red hydrangea in front of the faucet, the audience can't burn the dragon with bamboo fireworks, imitating the dragon's swimming, waving, rolling up and down and galloping, accompanied by gongs and drums. Guangxu five years (1879), built outside the Jing Qing Temple. This is the cultivated land on the gentle slope of Zhou Zi in Chenjiatan Township. The plane of the tower foundation is hexagonal, each side is 1.2m long, with seven floors in total, and it is hollow. Looking up at the top hexagon of each floor, it reaches the height of 12 meters, and the front of the bottom floor is inlaid with a stone tablet, which reads "Tower of Senile Spirit". There are also two small stone pagodas, 10 meters away, which stand in the shape of a "pin" and are similar in shape.

Tiefoguan

It is 4 kilometers southeast of Chibei District, at the junction of Tongjiang County, Sichuan Province. In the sixth year of Tongzhi in Qing Dynasty (1868), stones were laid on the mountain and walls were built as passes. Because there is a Buddhist temple nearby, it is named. It is 40 meters long, 5 meters high and 2 meters thick. When he closed the door, he wrote a couplet: "The iron cast screen is the Shu Road, and the Buddha is the Qin River in Longhu Town".
