However, the woodcarving technology of Shanshan-Gansu Guild Hall is the king of its kind because of its complex skills, various types and numerous quantities.

Not only wood carving, but also stone carving and brick carving in the hall are equally excellent. The stone wall of Zhaobi is carved with dazzling patterns, dragons and phoenixes flying and landscape figures. Some patterns are worth pondering. For example, there are two account books, one is open and the other is closed, indicating that money can only enter and exit; The raised abacus means "when the abacus rings, there are two thousand gold".

The design seems superstitious, but in fact it reveals the good wishes of ancient businessmen who are eager for prosperous business, and also creates an auspicious picture.
