The orchestra implements the responsibility system of artistic director, with Gong Zhenbang, a national first-class actor, a member of China Musicians Association and the former chief and conductor of Hisense Symphony Orchestra of Qingdao Song and Dance Theatre, as the artistic general and permanent conductor.

Orchestra is a dual-tube organization of western orchestras. There are more than 50 cast members. They have good professional ethics and artistic accomplishment, and have a high professional level. Some performers graduated from art colleges, some worked in professional art groups for many years, and some worked in music education for a long time. They are the backbone of the orchestra.
