Linshui County is located in the north of Chongqing, in the east of Sichuan Basin, at the foot of Huaying Mountain, next to Liangjiang New District of Chongqing, and it is the nearest county in Sichuan to the main city of Chongqing. It borders Dianjiang County, Changshou District and Yubei District of Chongqing respectively, and is connected with Huaying, Guang 'an District and Dazhou City in the west and north respectively. It takes only 50 minutes to drive directly to Chongqing via Chongqing-Neighbouring Expressway. Within the scope of "Chongqing One-hour Economic Circle", the location advantage is obvious. The county governs 18 towns and 27 townships, with a total population of1050,000 (permanent population of 720,000) and an area of 19 19.22 square kilometers. It is a famous "navel orange town" in China, a national commodity grain supply base, a pollution-free vegetable base, a national advanced sports county and a national science popularization innovation demonstration county. Huaying City is located in the eastern edge of Sichuan Basin, at the west foot of the middle section of Huaying Mountain Range, east of Qujiang, east of Linshui County, south of Yubei District of Chongqing, west of Hechuan City and Yuechi County, and north of Guang 'an District. It covers an area of 470 square kilometers, governs 9 towns and 3 sub-district offices, 1 township, with a total population of more than 500,000, including 200,000 non-agricultural people. Huaying enjoys a unique geographical position. The city is the gateway of eastern Sichuan to and from Chongqing, and the Xiang-Yu Railway runs through the whole territory from north to south. There are four railway stations in the city, of which Huaying Station is a third-class passenger station.
