The northeast drum was once popular in Shenyang. In the late Qing Dynasty, Shenyang once set up Fengtianfu, so it was once called "Fengtian Drum". In the 18th year of the Republic of China (1929), after Fengtian was renamed as Liaoning Province, it was also called "Liaoning Drum".
The original performance form of the Northeast Drum was that the singer sang and rapped himself with a small three-stringed instrument, and tied a knot on his leg, which was also called "Black Boy Book". The Northeast Drum is a blend of Beijing Opera, Jingyun Drum and part of Northeast folk vocals, with rich tunes, fluent vocals and strong expressive force. The northeast drum is mainly rap, and its content is mainly opera, novels and legendary stories, which has become an art that people like to see and hear.
The origin of northeast drum
Northeast drum was originally named Fengtian drum, also known as Liaoning drum. There are two theories about its origin: one is that during the Qianlong period (1736 to 1796), a calligrapher named Huang went to Shenyang to perform, which was transformed into a new art form on the basis of absorbing northeast folk and northeast minor. One person sings with gongs and drums, and the other plays the three-string accompaniment. A book ranges from three to five days to ten and a half months.
There is also a saying that the bulge in the northeast originated in the rural areas of western Liaoning. At that time, farmers bought some small songbooks of drum lyrics, and some people sang in local dialects according to the songbooks when agriculture was in trouble. At that time, there was no radio, no TV, men, women and children sitting together and listening to people sing "songbooks" was also a form of music. At that time, people who had studied for one or two years could sing along with the rhythm of Ming words, and unfamiliar words could come down, so they could know more words when singing Song Ben.
Later, a folk artist named "Song Ben" appeared. In his spare time, he walks in the country, plays the sanxian and sings by himself. People call it "TV drum".
