5. The morphological characteristics and quality of Liangping pomelo are excellent, with edible rate of 72.2%, juice yield of 40.7%, soluble solids 10%~ 14%, and 50~ 120 grains per fruit. After continuous breeding of 1 1 year, three preferred strains were selected, Liangping 64, with skin thickness 1.46cm, average fruit 17.52 grains, juice yield of 4 1.09% and total sugar content/kloc. The meat is tender and slag-free, with sweet taste, honey fragrance, no bitter and hemp taste and excellent quality. Has the effects of expelling pathogenic wind, relieving exterior syndrome, promoting digestion, relieving asthma, resolving phlegm, promoting diuresis and promoting fluid production, and treating constipation. Storage-resistant pomelo is one of the famous pomelos in China and the backbone variety of industrial development in liangping county.
As an excellent local variety, Liangping Ding Jian pomelo (Hucheng pomelo) is concentrated in the contiguous development of three towns. Liangping used local sour pomelo as the rootstock of Liangping pomelo, which showed strong affinity, good adaptability, vigorous tree growth, early fruiting, stable production and high quality, and long life. A few use Fructus Aurantii as rootstock. After 13 years observation, the tree has no abnormal performance, early fruit and high yield, better fruit coloring than sour pomelo rootstock, and loose crown.
