Bazhong City belongs to which city in Sichuan Province?
Sichuan province is a prefecture-level city directly under the central government. Baidu map shows that Bazhong City is a prefecture-level city under the jurisdiction of People's Republic of China (PRC) and Sichuan Province, located in the northeast of Sichuan Province, at the junction of Sichuan and Shaanxi provinces. Bazhong is located on the edge of Sichuan basin, at the southwest foot of Daba Mountain system, with high terrain in the north and low terrain in the south, and inclines from north to south. It has a subtropical monsoon climate with four distinct seasons and abundant rainfall. Bazhong City has a long history and belongs to Yugongliang County in ancient times. In the Spring and Autumn Period, it belonged to Bazi State. Bazhou was established in the Northern Wei Dynasty and changed to Baxian in the Ming Dynasty. In the Republic of China, Bazhou was renamed Bazhong County. On June 4th, 2000, the State Council approved the establishment of Bazhong City.
