When projecting an image with a projector, it is best to use a curtain. If there is no curtain, it can be projected on the white wall, but it is not as good as the curtain. Generally, there are two colors of curtains, and different colors of curtains have different effects:
1, white curtain
The gain of the white plastic screen is 1.0, which can truly reproduce the color and saturation of the projected picture, and the contrast is accurate and natural. Because the gain of the white plastic screen is 1, the projected picture does not change, but is really reproduced and restored, so it is suitable for LCD machines with bright colors and high contrast.
2. Gray curtains
The gray plastic curtain with a gain of 0.8 can increase the contrast of the projected picture and make the color transition deeper. It is a negative gain curtain, but the gray plastic curtain is designed to improve the contrast of the projected image in the environment with light interference. Because the projector of LCD machine has high definition and few color transitions, it can be supplemented with these advantages of gray plastic curtain. After using the gray curtain, the black position of the LCD projection screen will be deepened, and the level from black to white will increase. Wide viewing angle range is also one of the advantages of gray screen, which reduces the fatigue of people who watch for a long time.
To sum up, white screen and gray screen have their own advantages, which can be selected according to the type of projector and the color of home decoration: DLP projector is suitable for white screen, LCD projector is suitable for gray screen; Dark decoration environment is suitable for white curtains; Light-colored home decoration is more suitable for gray curtains, which can eliminate the reflected light of the environment.
2. Is there a black projection curtain?
The color of the projector curtain is mainly white and gray, and other colors are few, because white has high reflectivity and absorbs less light; Although the reflectivity of gray is slightly lower than that of white, the contrast effect is better. Do you have black curtains?
Generally, black is not used for the projection curtain, because black has the highest absorption rate and the lowest reflectivity, which will make most of the light projected by the projector absorbed, resulting in poor viewing effect, especially when some light or white light is projected on the black curtain, it is better if the light is weak, and it is not visible at all if the light is strong.
Therefore, there are few black curtains on the market, and the effect of black curtains is not as good as direct projection on the white wall.
