(1) When measuring the grounding resistance with the common voltage-current ratio meter grounding resistance meter (commonly known as "grounding shaking table"), the grounding down lead shall be measured separately from the tower through the grounding device of the tower; Through the grounding device of non-prestressed reinforced concrete pole, the grounding down lead is measured separately from the lightning rod from the top of the pole.

(2) When measuring grounding resistance with clamp-on grounding resistance measuring instrument (commonly known as "hook meter"), it is not allowed to measure the grounding down conductor separately from the tower, and the possible errors should be eliminated by exploring and using the experience of this type of grounding resistance measuring instrument. For lines with insulated grounding wires, the clamp grounding resistance measuring instrument shall not be used to measure the grounding resistance of towers.
