The Wuhan-Xianyang intercity railway is connected from Hanyi Railway Xiantao Dafu to Xiantao Station in Xiantao City, which is the first of its kind in China. The whole line and the * * * line of Hanyi Railway are 7 1km, newly built 16.984km, with bridges accounting for 95.7%, with a design speed of 200 km/h, and two stations, Dafu and Xiantao, will be built.
The design team repeatedly studied, compared and solved many technical problems, and creatively put forward a design scheme to connect the Hanyi section, which made full use of the recent surplus capacity of the Hanyi line and saved investment, making Wuxian intercity railway the first branch railway in China to branch off the national trunk line.
The opening of Hanyi Railway has brought great convenience to people in cities along the route. Unfortunately, there is no station in Xiantao city, and Xiantao citizens have to take the train to Tianmen South Station, resulting in the daily average number of passengers sent by Tianmen South Station far exceeding the expected number. The railway department insists on "innovating passenger transport supply and stimulating market demand", making full use of existing resources and expanding passenger transport capacity.
After full investigation, the railway department will use the existing Wuhan-Xiantao Dafu section of Hanyi Railway to build a new Dafu-Xiantao section, and on this basis, start an intercity train from Wuhan to Xiantao. Spending money from trunk lines to set up intercity railways has created a precedent for the construction of intercity railways in the whole province, which will greatly promote the economic development of Xiantao after completion.
