When will the heart of comparison stop writing?
The spirit of comparison can't last long. It is not advisable to compare people. There are no two identical leaves and no two identical people in the world, so blind comparison is impossible. Appropriate comparison will promote our progress, but blind comparison will breed jealousy and organize the pace of progress. Comparing one's own shortcomings with others' strengths and advantages often leads to inferiority or jealousy. Growing up, my mother always likes to compare me with other children to see who gets good grades and who gets more grades, so that parents can worry. When I grow up, I will still compare myself with others to see who has found a job and who has a boyfriend. I have lived in the shadow of comparing me with other children since I was a child. This has more or less caused my timidity and inferiority in character. If I have my own child in the future, I won't blindly compare him with others. Appropriate comparison can find out the gap between yourself and others and motivate yourself to catch up. However, improper comparison can only destroy self-confidence, breed jealousy and organize the pace of progress. Therefore, the heart of comparison is not desirable. How can we restrain the psychology of comparison? First of all, we should keep a good attitude and do our best no matter what we do. As long as we do our best in doing things, we will naturally have a good result. Secondly, compare your present and past vertically, not just horizontally. Is your present self better than your past self? If you make progress, you will succeed. If you blindly compare with others horizontally, it will only hurt your self-confidence and organize your own progress. Thirdly, set reasonable goals for yourself, self-supervise, self-spur, and achieve the set goals is success. Finally, keep a good attitude, attitude determines everything, treat success and failure with a normal heart, and don't compare your own failure with others' success. The heart of comparison is indispensable. As long as we keep up with the joneses and work hard, we will be one step closer to success.
