Lushan Mountain has appeared countless times in literati's poems and songs, among which Su Shi's sentence "I don't know the true face of Lushan Mountain, but toward which corner of the mountain" is the most famous. Lushan Mountain has beautiful scenery with green mountains, waterfalls, sunrise, sea of clouds and winter snow, attracting tourists from home and abroad to punch in for sightseeing.
1. Lushan Mountain Scenic Area
There are many scenic spots in Lushan Mountain, which are distributed in all parts of the mountain. The scenic spot is centered on Guling Town, and accommodation and dining are very convenient. Take the sightseeing bus here and take you to every scenic spot. The sightseeing bus takes two routes, the eastern route and the western route. 2. Bailudong Academy
Bailudong Academy is located at the southern foot of Wulaofeng Mountain in Lushan Mountain, Jiangxi Province, and it is also called "the Four Great Academies in China" with Yuelu Academy in Changsha, Hunan, Yingtian Academy in Shangqiu, Henan and Songyang Academy in Dengfeng, Henan. According to legend, the founder of the Academy was Mr. Libo, Bailu, Southern Tang Dynasty. Li Bo went to Lushan for a study tour, where he built pavilions, painted mountain springs and planted flowers and trees. The peak here is round and shaped like a hole, so it is named Bailu Cave. The Academy, facing south, is a large quadrangle building with several entrances and exits. Most of the buildings in the academy are stone or brick-wood structures, with herringbone hard peaks on the roof and elegant layout. Ritual and Music Temple, Zhuzi Temple, Imperial Book Pavilion and Mingluntang are located in the pavilion courtyard, which are good places for self-cultivation.
3. Lindong Giant Buddha
Lindong Buddha in Lushan Mountain is the tallest statue of Amitabha in the world and the only open-air bronze statue of Amitabha in China. It is located in the pure land garden of Tolin Temple at the southern foot of Lushan Mountain. Lushan Mountain in the north, Poyang Lake in the south, Wenquan Town in the east and Changjiu Expressway in the west, with open terrain and convenient transportation. A golden giant Buddha stands on the top of the mountain with extraordinary momentum. The shape of the giant Buddha absorbs the advantages of many Buddha statues and represents the highest level of contemporary religious art. Zhou Temple, based on the architectural style of Tang Dynasty, is magnificent. The ancient and solemn central axis leads to the road at the foot of the giant Buddha. The closer you get to the Buddha, the more majestic and respectful you feel. The temple is a pure land of charity and Buddhist exchanges between human beings, with beautiful scenery and beautiful scenery.
4. Lushan Guanyin Bridge
Guanyin Bridge is located in the Qixian Grand Canyon at the southern foot of Lushan Mountain, also known as Qixian Bridge. There is no carving on the slate fence, which is really inconspicuous. After crossing the bridge, I walked under it and saw that it was not easy. The inner ring of bridge opening consists of seven rows of rectangular big stones, which are concave and convex, end to end, and tenon and mortise are combined to form a stone arch bridge. It is still intact after thousands of years of wind and rain. How the ancients did it is still a mystery. Guanyin Bridge is a precious heritage of bridge-building technology in ancient China, and it is also the shooting place of the early film "The Legend of Lushan Mountain" in China. Guanyin Bridge Scenic Area is a good place to travel and get close to nature.
5. Xiufeng Scenic Area?
Xiufeng, located in Bailu Town, Xing Zi County, Lushan City, is the source of Li Bai's poem Looking at Lushan Waterfall. The scenic spot is divided into two parts: the mountain and the foot of the mountain. There are mainly stone carvings of Zhongzhengxingying, Lingquan and Cliff at the foot of the mountain. Part of the mountain is watching waterfalls. You can go up directly by cable car or climb the mountain by plank road. There are crystal clear pools, lush forests and various peaks along the road. The ancients said: "The beauty of Lushan Mountain lies in the south of the mountain, and the beauty of the south of the mountain lies in Xiufeng". The scenic spot is primitive, not over-developed, with high waterfalls and slender water flow. Poets should have gone in the rainy season, or used exaggerated methods. At the top of the mountain, you can overlook Poyang Lake, which is a must-see place for Lushan Mountain.
