He objected to the attitude and method of Song Mingzhi's annotation of classics: "Only footnotes can find out that this is called drilling old paper, and this is called mullet." He also accused Taoists of being "Confucian slaves" and "dead bodies due to wind stagnation". His works include Xiao Sheng Ji Shuang Hong and Comments on Xunzi. Later generations compiled two books, Gynecology in Fu Qingzhu and Andrology in Fu Qingzhu.
