Why is Wudi County called Wudi?
Wudi County is named after Wudi Mountain and Wudi Water. Wudi county is a thousand-year-old county. It was the Wudi City of Qi during the Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period. From the Qin Dynasty to the early Sui Dynasty, Wudi County was called Yuci County and Yangxin County successively. Wudi County was established in the sixth year of Emperor Yangdi (586), and the county is located in Qingyun County today.
