Wandering singer Lao Xie, formerly known as Xie, is 27 years old and is from Zhaotong, Yunnan. He was born as a farmer and studied in a technical secondary school for one year. During this period, he came into contact with the guitar and dropped out of school a year later. In the following years, I worked as a security guard, a worker, a construction worker, a music handyman and a bar singer. He once formed several bands and acted as the lead singer, but the band was dissolved because other teammates got married and had children.

In 2008, she began to take to the streets and became a wandering singer. Since then, she has been writing and wandering all the way. She has been to more than 20 cities such as Kunming, Nanning, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Nanchang and Guiyang, and sang all the way from Yunnan to Beijing. At present, this human settlement has no fixed place, floating in the air like a grain of dust. Life has given him too many sighs, and he is destined to wander all his life, telling his story in the street with songs and interpreting the meaning of his life with songs. A guitar, a vicissitudes face, a hoarse voice, the simplest music scene, the life experience of being replaced by lungs, and the music created in the long journey bear the thinking of life, the persistence of dreams and the helplessness of reality.
