Tea-picking drama is the most traditional folk drama in Lingshan, which is deeply loved by the masses. Historical materials have been included in the 11th Collection of Guangxi Local Drama Historical Materials. According to historical records, tea-picking drama in Lingshan was very popular at the beginning of19th century. At first, it was sung in the Spring Festival every year. /kloc-At the beginning of the 9th century, the monitor of tea-picking opera began to tour the village. Tea-picking drama has many programs and rich tunes. The earliest tea-picking opera class was the tail root bamboo in Wan Li, Burao Town. Later, neighboring villages such as Jincun, Bulao Dengyang and Nalong Zhong Ling also started tea-picking classes. In the early years of the Republic of China, dozens of tea-picking classes appeared in the east, west, north and south of Lingshan, rehearsing tea-picking dramas of many folk stories, such as Chen San, Mo Jing, Zhu Maichen, Shikeng Mosquito, Killing Dogs for Food and Gao Wenju. There are more than ten kinds of tea-picking drama programs in Lingshan, such as opening tea, welcoming guests, ordering tea, frying tea, sending elder brothers to sell tea, serving tea, dressing tea, New Year tea, Qianbian tea and Shatai tea. The performances of various programs are deeply loved by the masses, and the tea-picking tunes are extremely rich and pleasing to the eye, and the masses are very familiar with them. Drama performance has strong stories and prominent characters, and the protagonist is usually tea. Tea picking in Lingshan was originally sung in Lingshan dialect. After liberation, in order to meet the needs of the times and the situation, many creative plays were sung in Cantonese. Transplanted Guangdong small Cantonese opera "Playing Gong" and "Mending Pot", creative scripts "Sending Children to Join the Army", "Selling Tiles", "Village Medical Station", "Yan Feng Quanxin" and "Small Money" are all sung in Cantonese, and Lingshan picks tea for dancing. In particular, tea opening, sending elder brother to sell tea, Qianbian tea, Luoda Garden, Luo Xiao Garden, etc. They are all very ostentatious dance performances. Tea picking in Lingshan is very popular with people. Up to now, Lingshan people still have the habit of watching tea-picking dramas. At present, there have been performances such as Tanwei Sheling Tea Picking Class, Luwu Guanglong Tea Picking Class, Wulianjin Tea Picking Class, Liwen Gubu Tea Picking Class and Shrike Wan Li Tea Picking Class.
