I'm Po. Let me tell you the real me. My last name is Zhang, and Po was my nickname in high school. Because there was a special person named Po in a TV series who looked like me, the students stopped. I like singing since I was a child. My father is an anti-Japanese old eight road. Influenced by his father, he likes Guo's folk songs and understands them quickly. At the age of four, she sang solo with the literary propaganda team. When I was six years old, I would sing all the "Brother and Sister Land Reclamation". When I was a child, I lived in the suburbs of Datong, and there was a village called Zhoujiadian a few hundred meters away. Once upon a time, there was an old artist named Xing Ru who drank every day, got drunk every time, and sang every time he got drunk. When other children are scared away by his drunkenness, I like listening to him sing quietly, which is my first experience of local music. Next to my house are wilderness and farmland. This place has become a big stage where I often enjoy singing. /kloc-when I was 0/2 years old, I was admitted to Datong Art School with excellent results, but the back door was very common there. When I was full of joy and ready to go to school, I found that I was replaced by a city man. A small middle school place can make people so despicable, which is a deep injury to a child who regards singing as his life and will never heal in my heart. For me, flower of life withered before it opened, and his personality became withdrawn and introverted. I spent my whole childhood in gray and melancholy, and later I was rejected in the professional group of Datong. From the age of 12, my greatest wish is to stay away from Datong. 1986, I found a chance to sing in the only music teahouse in Datong, because my popularity far exceeded that of the professional actors of the city song and dance troupe on the same stage. After singing for a few days, I was excluded. Later, I began to wander with various performing troupes for nearly 20 years. 1994 A professor of music department in a British university was very excited after listening to my singing. After returning to China, he sent me an admission notice. I hurried back to Datong to get my passport. After running for a week, even people from relevant departments can't see it. I finally met him. When the other person opens his mouth, he wants 5 thousand yuan. In a rage, I transferred my account to a county town in Guangdong, where I didn't have to pay a penny more for the normal expenses. Although the passport was issued, the start date has passed, and finally the school was delayed.
I have participated in countless singing competitions, almost all of which were eliminated in the first round. Experts say that my singing is unscientific and my voice is in the wrong position. So far, no formal group has accepted me. The reason is simple, because I am an amateur. I sing folk songs from Shanxi, Shaanxi and Mongolia. The language and culture of northern Shanxi and western Inner Mongolia are very close to folk songs. For example, Xintianyou in northern Shaanxi is called Qu Shan in Shanxi and climbing in Inner Mongolia. Shanxi, Shaanxi and Mongolia folk songs. The way I learn folk songs is to visit old folk artists in three places. Now I have recorded a lot of precious sound materials, because the younger generation has long since stopped listening to these earthy things. Now that these old artists are often dead, I will sing these collected folk songs in a slightly modern music arrangement. In addition, in the process of collecting folk songs outside, the street performers are the ones who feel the deepest. Nowadays, big stars can get1200,000 by singing a few songs, while those street performers can only sing for a few dollars a day.
My singing style is different from all folk singers, and I have my own system and style. Because singing has never been taught, growing up eating a hundred meals like a wild child means treating all folk singers as teachers. Everyone is different and has something to learn. When I sang "Shandandan bloom is Red", I listened to all the materials that everyone sang, stole the good ones and sang them with my own treatment, and even added some popular elements, because the popular ones are closest to life and are most easily accepted by the people. I was born in the frontier plateau, and singing folk songs is greatly influenced by rough play and duet, so my folk song style is different from anyone else. Self-contained. I think it is more important to sing your own style than to sing like a celebrity.
I've been singing for almost 20 years, but I'm still unknown. I'm ashamed of myself and my parents! But after all, only a few people are famous, and there are many complicated factors. I am lucky enough to fill my stomach by singing. I often go to remote rural areas to collect folk songs. I know that in rural areas, there are more people who have been singing all their lives and are still unknown and even poor. I will give them the most infinite respect and respect for their spirit. That's the soul of folk songs! For thousands of years, it is precisely because of the silent inheritance of countless such losers that it is possible for you to hear Po's songs here today. After so many years of ups and downs, we have become accustomed to the coldness of the world, the contempt of the city for the countryside, and the contempt of the profession for amateurs. There can't be only one flower in the garden, and every flower is not necessarily red. It is precisely because of its colorful colors that we feel that the world is beautiful. Flowers will bloom whether someone waters them or not. Since I can't grow in the field and enter the garden, let me be a lonely lily in the valley. Wild lilies have the same spring. It may be a coincidence that the wild lily is Shandandan. Folk songs need diversity as much as society. Everyone has his own sky and stage. God gave us eyes to observe the colorful world and ears to listen to the different voices of nature. If there is only one color and one voice in the world, we would rather be blind and deaf!
My greatest wish is to make local folk songs occupy a place in China music scene through the efforts of our generation. I also have a wish: in the future, if I have money, I will go to the poor areas of Shanxi, Shaanxi and Mongolia where I collect folk songs to help local dropouts.
