"36 Travel" is full of curiosity about this ancient land, stubbornly and patiently exploring many times, and is strongly eager to share everything it sees with you.
Starting from Guangzhou, the one-way trip is about 360 kilometers, taking into account the scenery and cultural and historical attractions. It is suitable for office workers in go on road trip for 36 hours on weekends (65438+2 days and 0 nights).
Lianzhou Ancient Road —— The most connotative ancient road in 2017
20 17 China top ten ancient roads were announced: Lianzhou ancient road was rated as the most connotative ancient road on 20 17.
Reason for being selected: Lianzhou Ancient Road excavated in Qin and Han Dynasties recorded thousands of years of history, including dynasty change, war baptism, trade exchange, relegation to official exile. It is a place where Central Plains culture and Lingnan culture meet, and its rich connotation needs to be explored.
It takes about 4.5 hours to drive from Guangzhou to Nantianmen (Shuntouling), the ancient Qin-Han road in Dalubian town. When the car goes to a high place, it can be overlooked; 2000 years ago, the ancient southern road in Zhao Tuo was hidden in the Shan Ye of this pale python. Since then, this ancient road connecting the Central Plains has gradually become the main road for merchants to circulate goods.
When I arrived at Shuntouling Village, a sign was erected at the entrance of the village, which was printed with seven poems by Liu Yuxi, "Nine Waves of Sand".
In August, the waves roared, and the head was several feet high, touching the back of the mountain.
In a blink of an eye, I arrived at Haimen, and the rolled sand was like a snowdrift.
Shuntouling Village is located at the junction of Huguang and Hunan provinces, leading to Linwu, Hunan Province, and Lianzhou, Guangdong Province on the other side. Attached to the advantages of the ancient road passing through the village, it has become a resting place for merchants in the past. There are many shops on both sides, and there are wild voices of drinking and guessing fists from the inn, which almost never stops.
On one side of the village, there is an ancient pavilion, Guangyin Pavilion, opposite the north and south gates. When it was built, it is difficult to verify.
The plaque at the north gate is engraved with the three characters "Guangyin Pavilion" in italics. The name of the museum has two meanings: first, Guangdong is behind the museum, which will bring "blessings" to business travelers; Another meaning is that this pavilion can "block" people in the past.
The stone tablet at the south gate is engraved with the words "the worse gate", which means that climbing this pavilion is like climbing the heavenly gate, and it also tells pedestrians that they have reached the top of the mountain when they reach the pavilion.
A sculpture was recently added in front of the door, and the content expressed by the sculpture was not explained.
Out of the worse gate, down the mountain is an ancient road paved with bluestones, which leads to Xing Zi Town. The ancient road with a width of less than 1 m is still shiny after years of polishing and brushing.
About 500 meters away from the Nantianmen, the Huaiqing Pavilion, located halfway up the mountain, serves as a place for passers-by to rest and shelter from the wind and rain.
Time flies, the ancient road has lost its original function. I stayed for 2 hours and didn't see any tourists. Instead, I chatted with villagers in nearby villages who went to the market and herded cattle: "Before the 1980s, villagers went to Shantang Town to go to the market by this ancient road." .
Miraculously survived for 2000 years, this ancient road of Qin and Han dynasties, which is no longer brilliant, is gradually forgotten and even faded. The endless ancient road records the hardships and vitality of war and cultural exchange, and its historical value can not be ignored.
After visiting the ancient road for 2 hours, I went on to the next stop, Tanling Reservoir, and chose Tanling Reservoir as the reason for my trip: all because of the beautiful scenery here.
Nantianmen-Tanling Reservoir is 36 kilometers apart, and the driving time is about 1 hour.
Tanling Reservoir in Tianhu, Guangdong Province
Tanling Reservoir in Xing Zi Town was built at 1967. It is called "Tianhu Lake in Guangdong" because it is located on a mountain more than 600 meters above sea level. Reservoirs can generate electricity and irrigate farmland.
Tanling Reservoir is the largest reservoir with the highest elevation in Guangdong Province, with a drainage area of 142 square kilometers, a water surface area of about 10 square kilometers and a water depth of 15 meters. The clear blue water quality once reached the drinking standard.
In the dry season, the bare red mountains on the water surface are embedded in the lake like gems, and the scenery is beautiful.
Man-made dams divide a peculiar blue-green "color pool", which is a visual feast. The attraction of traveling to see the scenery lies in finding those exciting and fresh pictures.
Tanling Reservoir is named after it was built in Yuan Tan Cave in Tanling Township. Tanling Village is a reservoir immigrant village. These houses are built on cliffs by the lake. Villagers are mainly engaged in catering and homestay, and some are engaged in planting. The crystal pears in Tanling are famous for their sweetness, and many tourists come here during the harvest season (July and August).
Tanling Reservoir has opened the business of cruise ships, and there are few tourists in their leisure time. The price of sightseeing boat at Tanling Wharf is reasonable, with a charter 100 yuan. It is very pleasant to travel by boat in hot summer and enjoy the beautiful scenery in the breeze.
Depending on the railing of B&B Lake, you can overlook most of the scenery of "Tianhu", and you can also look up at the starry sky and shoot the star track at night. Friends who like romance can find an open space near the reservoir to set up a tent and watch the stars.
The mist covers lightly, which is the morning color of Tanling Reservoir in May. Mountains and low-flying clouds are reflected on the mirror-like lake, presenting a dream scene that is difficult to see in front of you.
Those who like morning exercises can run along the road by the lake, even drive around the lake, or sit by the lake and wait for the sunrise.
After breakfast, go to the final destination Bi Yuan Village. The distance from Tanling Reservoir to Bi Yuan Village is 60km, and the driving time is1.5h. ..
Bi Yuan Village in Longping Town is a traditional village in China, which has been listed in the list of the third batch of traditional villages in China jointly published by the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, the Ministry of Culture, National Cultural Heritage Administration, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Land and Resources, the Ministry of Agriculture and the National Tourism Administration.
Although with the development of modernization, the scene of extreme poverty in Bi Yuan Village hidden in the mountains is not optimistic, no matter how difficult the conditions are, the villagers still cling to it, and a large number of ancient houses in Ming and Qing Dynasties have been preserved.
Walking into the village, the alleys inside are paved with bluestone slabs. There are a large number of old blue brick houses on the second and third floors, but more than half of them have been in disrepair for a long time and the damage is very serious.
Bi Yuan Village has a profound historical and cultural heritage. The descendants of Li, the minister of the Northern Song Dynasty, settled here, and the ancient buildings such as Li Ancestral Hall, former residence and the former site of Guangdong Girls' School are still well preserved.
On the stream that flows through the village, two stone turtles, one large and one small, are "drifting" against the current, and each one is buried one meter deep. Although the cultural relics in Bi Yuan Village were also seriously stolen and destroyed, the pair of male and female stone turtles survived.
The window head of the residential building left an ancient symbol-exquisite gray sculpture. It is reported that Bi Yuan Village will be rebuilt in the future, and the ancient buildings will be properly protected and activated.
Tucao point: I can't see any signs when I walk in the village. Because it is my second visit, I have learned more about the ancient village under the enthusiastic guidance of the villager Mr. Zhang.
Record traditions and changes with a lens, before they meet. I hope the light of the ancient village cultural tourism development plan can shine on the people of Bi Yuan.
