Summary of my grand Greek wedding
Everyone in the Porto Carlos family is worried about Tula's future. Tula, 30, is still alone, working in Zoba Dance Club, a Greek restaurant run by her parents, where the smell of garlic bread is everywhere. Tula swears that if she still works in this restaurant for the rest of her life, she might as well stab her in the eye with a red-hot poker, and she is ready to change her life. Unfortunately, the rest of the family disagreed with her idea.

Later, Tula got a job in a travel agency run by her aunt. There, she falls in love with ian miller (john corbett), a tall and handsome high school teacher, but he is not Greek. Tula wondered whether her conservative father would resent Ian for being a foreigner or a vegetarian. But as long as Ian proposed to her, she didn't care.

Tula knew that if Ian could get the consent of her eccentric relatives and be baptized in the Greek Orthodox Church, their grand Greek wedding would not be a problem.
