Once upon a time, there was an old Jinshi, and his son was also a Jinshi. He was very proud. The next day, he prepared a rich banquet for his guests and personally wrote a couplet and posted it outside the gate. The first part is "father Jinshi, son Jinshi, father and son Jinshi", and the second part is "old lady, daughter-in-law, old lady". Because this old Jinshi is usually rich and heartless, relying on his wealth and power, he often bullies men, women and fish villages, and the people hate him very much. One of the scholars saw this couplet and immediately decided to play a trick on the old Jinshi to relieve his evil spirit. So, taking advantage of the night, he added a horizontal line under the word "scholar" in this couplet, a apostrophe on the word "husband" and two horizontal lines on the word "person".
The next day, all the guests invited by the old Jinshi came. Everyone snickered when they saw this couplet. When the old Jinshi heard the news, he saw that the couplet had become "father goes to the ground, son goes to the ground, father and son go to the ground;" A woman loses her husband, a daughter-in-law loses her husband and a mother-in-law loses her husband. "
The old Jinshi made a fool of himself in front of everyone and couldn't help but faint with a loud cry. Everyone applauded.
