China Fujian-Taiwan Border Museum is a national-level thematic museum reflecting the historical relationship between Chinese mainland (Fujian) and Taiwan. It is located in the northwest of Quanzhou, a famous historical and cultural city in China, with Qingyuan Mountain as the national scenic spot in the north and the scenic West Lake in the south.
China Fujian-Taiwan Border Museum covers an area of 154.2 mu, with a main building area of 23,332 square meters. The design concept of "the sky is round and the place is round" is adopted, and the characteristic technology of traditional buildings in Fujian and Taiwan is used. It is red and white, natural, and fully embodies the humanistic spirit and regional characteristics on both sides of the Taiwan Strait. Among them, the main building has four semi-arc roof steps leading to the viewing rooftop, which symbolizes that the China Fujian-Taiwan Edge Museum is a bridge and link for cross-strait exchanges; The peaceful lotus on the viewing rooftop will spread the gospel of good luck and peace all year round.
The landscape square of China Mintaiyuan Museum consists of a monument, a reflecting pool, a musical fountain, a Kowloon column and colored lamp posts. It is based on the red color with the architectural characteristics of Fujian and Taiwan, and uses the color of natural stone plates and special red bricks to separate eye-catching patterns from red and white, which are integrated with the main building. The Kowloon Column and Sleeping Monument constitute a group of far-reaching scenes. "Pearl spit in Kowloon" symbolizes that compatriots on both sides of the strait are descendants of dragons, and cross-strait relations are rock solid. The water in the reflection pool in the middle of the landscape square keeps flowing from the inside out, symbolizing the long-standing relationship between the two sides of the Taiwan Strait.
