1. Exhibition overview

Shanghai International Jewelry Fair was jointly sponsored by China Jewelry and Jade Jewelry Industry Association, Jewelry and Jade Jewelry Management Center of Ministry of Land and Resources, Shanghai Gold Exchange, Shanghai Diamond Exchange, Shanghai Gold and Jewelry Industry Association, Shenzhen Gold and Jewelry Industry Association and Shanghai Gemstone Industry Association, and was awarded as "Excellent Exhibition of Shanghai International Exhibition in 2008".

The 2009 Shanghai International Jewelry Fair was held in Shanghai New International Expo Center from May/KOOC-0/3 to May/KOOC-0/6, with an exhibition scale of 2/KOOC-0/563 square meters (up/KOOC-0/8% year-on-year) and 0/072 booths (up/KOOC-year-on-year) * * * A total of 425 companies from 22 countries and regions participated in the exhibition (the number of participating companies increased by 8% year-on-year), including 159 overseas exhibitors (up by 10% year-on-year) and 295 18 visiting buyers (up by 25% year-on-year).

This exhibition is the fourth jewelry exhibition held by China Jianbao Association in Shanghai. According to the market demand, exhibitors made technological innovations, designed and manufactured more than 2,000 kinds of extraordinary innovative products, which attracted the attention of buyers and the media.

Lao Fengxiang, Old Temple Gold, Yayi Gold Store, Jewelry, Emerald, Chow Tai Sang Jewelry, Millennium Star, Baitai, Edkang, Anzu Zhiyun, Xingguangda, TTF, Huachang, Lu, Ricky, Yidalong, Xingtai, Lu Xian and Xiahu Mingzhu. In addition, with the globalization of network information, e-commerce has become a new channel for consumers to shop. The e-commerce exhibition area of the first China Jewelry Fair, composed of e-commerce enterprises such as Diamond Bird, Jiuzuan and Diamond Industry, covers an area of over 400 square meters.

(2) Global diamond suppliers gathered in Shanghai and became the largest diamond exhibition area in China.

Affected by the financial crisis, the demand for diamonds in European and American markets has fallen sharply, making the importance of emerging markets such as China's diamond consumption prominent. China government's policy of "stimulating domestic demand and consumption" has made diamond dealers all over the world look to China.

Shanghai Diamond Exchange (SDE) organized 27 member companies to participate in the exhibition, including Zuanli, Bailey Trade, Meijing, Jinghua and Tower Car, with an exhibition area of 3,000 square meters and nearly 100 booths. AWDC, the world exquisite diamond processing center, once again organized a delegation to participate in the exhibition, with an exhibition area of 400 square meters and nearly 30 booths.

The organizer has planned all enterprises dealing in diamonds in the same area, and the booth is uniformly marked with the image of "Diamond Pavilion", forming the largest diamond exhibition area in the pavilion. Diamond bare stones of various sizes, cleanness, colors and cuts provide wholesalers and retailers with rich choices. The "Diamond Pavilion" of Shanghai Jewelry Fair provides convenient conditions for enterprises to find diamond suppliers, carry out international cooperation and expand their business platforms.

(3) The most international jewelry exhibition.

In 2009, Shanghai International Jewelry Fair * * * attracted 159 overseas exhibitors from 22 countries and regions including Switzerland, the United States, Belgium, Israel, South Korea, India, Japan and Sri Lanka.

(5) Jewelry characteristic industrial bases and jewelry markets in various provinces and cities actively participated in the exhibition.

Panyu Exhibition Group, Shuibei Exhibition Group, Hualin Exhibition Group, Suzhou Tang Wei Pearl Exhibition Group, Zhuji Pearl Exhibition Group and Donghai Crystal Exhibition Group gathered in Shanghai Jewelry Exhibition with outstanding advantages and obvious effects. Panyu jewelry enterprises mainly make foreign orders and have certain characteristics in style design and technology. Exquisite jewelry with international fashion elements is favored by buyers, and the on-site transaction is active, which improves the confidence of exhibitors to explore the domestic market.

2.2 Highlight publicity and strengthen the invitation to professional buyers.

In order to expand the influence of the exhibition and attract more professional buyers and audiences, the organizers have done a good job in media promotion. Organizers communicate with exhibitors repeatedly three months in advance, collect and summarize the information of innovative products such as new technologies, new processes and new designs, refine and sublimate them, and provide fair, informative and novel news materials for the media.

Shanghai International Jewellery Fair is sponsored and undertaken by China Treasures Association, and has a history of nearly five years. The scale of the exhibition has been steadily expanded and the exhibition level has been gradually improved, which has been widely recognized by the jewelry industry and has become one of the three major jewelry exhibitions recognized in China.

Due to the short development time and complicated factors, the planning and layout of the whole exhibition is not perfect.
