The development of history
In the Tang Dynasty, a mound was built next to a well from wei county to Anqiu and Zhucheng Post Road. At the end of the Qing Dynasty, an inn named Fangzi Store was opened next to the mound, hence the name Fangzi.
1April, 948, Weixian was liberated, and Fangzi Town was subordinate to Fangzi City, Weifang Special City, and later changed to Fangzi District of Weifang City, also known as Weifang fourth area. Other towns and villages belong to Weinan County. 1950, Weinan county system was abolished and merged into Weibei county; 1953 Weibei county merged into Weixian county. Although the division has been changeable in the future, most of the regions belong to Weifang and wei county.
