The Taoist shadow play in Huanxian County is an ancient traditional art of Han nationality and a puppet show widely circulated among the people. The fusion of Qin Long culture and surrounding ethnic cultures is the product of the combination of ancient Taoist feelings and shadow play. Legend has it that it was born in the Song Dynasty, commonly known as "Lantern Shadow Play", "Little Play" and "Old Love". In the course of thousands of years' development and evolution, she used the means of "telling stories through lanterns, film transmission and dubbing", "concentrating the achievements of Chinese shadow play and taking the essence of local Taoist feelings and folk art", integrating folk music, fine arts and oral literature, and became the object for local people to pour out their hearts.
