In the early years of the Republic of China, Feidu was a district, belonging to the first district of Chaoyang County. 1956 established Jinpu Township, and 1958 merged into Red Tide Commune. 1959, demolition of Jinpu Commune, 1983 change district, 1986 build town. 1994165438+10 was incorporated into Chaoyang city, and Jinpu sub-district office was established in the town. It has jurisdiction over Sanbao Neighborhood Committee, Nanmen Village Committee, Maixi Village Committee, Mei Dong Village Committee and Dagou Village Committee, and its office is located in Sanbao Neighborhood Committee. It is one of the revolutionary bases of Chaoshan Special Committee and Chaoyang and Huilai counties, and the central part 1926- 1945. Forestry mainly includes acacia, pine and cypress, hemp and other economic forests.
