The construction and promotion of a number of key railway projects, such as Zhanyi-Liupanshui double track of Guikun Railway, Kunming-Guangtong double track of chengdu-kunming railway, Guangtong-Dali double track and Nankun double track, have made Yunnan Railway enter the era of double track.

Break through the "bottleneck" of inter-provincial traffic

Shanghai-Kunming Railway is one of the most important and busiest "eight vertical and eight horizontal" trunk railways in China, among which Liupanshui-Kunming section is the "bottleneck" that restricts the transportation of materials outside Yunnan Province for a long time. Therefore, the Ministry of Railways decided to invest 4.397 billion yuan to build a 142 km long Zhan-Kun double-track railway.

Zhankun double-track railway starts from Qujing City, Yunnan Province in the east, passes through Malong County and Songming County, and reaches Kunming, the capital of Yunnan Province in the west. The line starts from Neikun New Line and Liu Zhu Double Line in the east, and is connected with Nankun Railway and Shuibai Railway through Panxi Railway. To the west, it is connected with Cheng Kun, Kunyu Railway and He Kun Meter Gauge Railway through Kunming Hub, and connected with Guangtong-Dali Railway and Dali-Lijiang Railway and Dali-Ruili Railway under construction through Kunming-Guangtong section of Chengdu-Kunming Line.

The double track of Zhan-Kun Railway is responsible for the exchange of materials and personnel between Yunnan, Central South and East China, and it is an important land channel for transporting materials out of Yunnan. The opening of Zhan-Kun double track will double the railway transportation capacity, and the freight capacity of this line will be increased from the current 6.5438+0.656 million tons/year to 58.9 million tons/year, an increase of 2.55 times.

The top speed will reach 160 km.

With the opening of Zhan-Kun double-track railway, the average travel speed of express passenger trains will be increased from 56.7Km/h in the past to 1 13km/h, and the whole line will be electrified and the double-track railway will be automatically blocked. Travel time was shortened from 2 hours and 50 minutes to 1 hour 20 minutes, and shortened to 1 hour 30 minutes. The running capacity of passenger cars is increased from 1 1 pair to 27 pairs.

According to the relevant person in charge of kunming railway administration, as the new line has just been opened, the current running speed of this section is 90km, 100km, 120km and 140km, and the highest running speed will reach 160km in the future. Fast locomotives will be introduced in the future to replace the current Shaoshan electric locomotives.

The railway is expected to open short-distance passenger cars.

It is reported that the construction of Liupanshui-Zhanyi double track has started. After the completion, Kunming-Guiyang will be expected to achieve "the evening will come." The average speed of freight trains will increase from the current 28.4 km/h to 49.6 km/h. Intercity trains and urban short-distance passenger rail transit trains, with their high speed and large capacity, can meet the passenger demand between cities, between the main city of Kunming and satellite cities, and in and out of the airport.

On the occasion of the sixth national railway speed increase, Yunnan adjusted the railway operation map and added five new lines, which can send 720,000 new passengers every year. The construction of multi-head railway in Yunnan has taken a step for Yunnan to build China's international gateway to Southeast Asia and South Asia, and also promoted the construction of China-ASEAN Free Trade Area, which is an important foundation and condition for China's opening and cooperation to South Asia.
