First, the complexity of fingering:
The traditional suona has eight pressing holes (the first seven and the last one), and the range is two octaves plus one sound, so the fingering is relatively simple.
There are many shapes and improvements of sheng, including 2 1, 24, 26, 36, 37 and 42 springs. Modern folk music groups often use 36-spring-key sheng instead of traditional sheng, and their fingering is more diverse. The part of "Sheng" is a little more difficult than "Suona".
2. Use of breath:
Playing sheng and suona requires a lot of vital capacity and breath control, so the difficulty of the two is similar.
