Van Gogh's love
1882 65438+1At the end of October, Van Gogh met and got together with Sean, an alcoholic prostitute. Sean was three years older than Van Gogh and was pregnant with a five-year-old daughter. Later, Sean gave birth to a child named William, who once thought Van Gogh was his biological father. When Van Gogh's father learned of this, he was very angry and ashamed and asked them to break up. At the end of 1883, they finally broke up and Sean became a prostitute again. After Van Gogh's death 14, Sean committed suicide by drowning. Van Gogh's sadness was painted on 1882. It can be seen that Sean in the painting is still pregnant.

The year before that, in August of 188 1, Van Gogh fell in love with his widowed cousin cornelia, who was seven years older than him, and had an eight-year-old son. Van Gogh proposed to her and was rejected. Cornelia also left immediately and never met again. Van Gogh still hasn't given up on his cousin cornelia, while cornelia's parents say Van Gogh's persistence is "disgusting". In desperation, Van Gogh wrote "As long as I can stand the fire, let me accompany her" on his hand, and then put his hand on the lamp to bake. At last his uncle put out the fire and saved him. But cornelia's father said: Considering that Van Gogh didn't even support his own income, it was impossible for them. Van Gogh later painted Memories of Eton Garden.

A year later, 1884, a neighbor's daughter margot Begemann fell in love with Van Gogh. She is ten years older than Van Gogh. They were going to get married, but both parents opposed it and it didn't happen. Margot tried to kill himself with rodenticide, but Van Gogh rushed him to the hospital.

A year later, at 1885, Van Gogh was accused of getting a model of a farmhouse pregnant. The priest then forbade the villagers to model for Van Gogh.

Van Gogh was never married and had no descendants.
