EQ49 1 engine is a four-stroke spark plug ignition inline four-cylinder single overhead camshaft engine. Main features of the engine:

Single overhead camshaft; The adopted timing toothed belt has long service life and low noise; Silicone oil fan clutch; Embedded exhaust valve seat; Drill-based alloy surfacing for exhaust valve sealing cone. EQ49 1 Engine can use leaded gasoline or unleaded gasoline because it adopts embedded exhaust valve seat and drill-based alloy conical exhaust valve.
The camshaft is located above the rocker arm and driven by the toothed belt, which also drives the auxiliary shaft installed at the front end of the cylinder block, and the auxiliary shaft drives the distributor, the oil pump and the gasoline pump in turn. See Figure 109 for the longitudinal section of the machine.
(2) Lubrication system structure
The oil pump sucks oil from the oil collector, puts the oil pump into the auxiliary oil passage, then into the oil filter, and then into the main oil passage. Oil enters the crankshaft main bearing, auxiliary shaft bearing and camshaft bearing from the main oil passage, and the oil is ejected from the auxiliary shaft bearing. Lubricate the distributor drive shaft. The oil entering the middle camshaft bearing can also enter the oil injection pipe installed on the camshaft bearing seat of the cylinder head. There are eight small holes in the oil injection pipe for oil injection to lubricate the rocker arm and cam respectively.
(3) Structure of cooling system
Large circulation of coolant: radiator-water pump-cylinder ~ thermostat cover' radiator.
Small circulation of coolant: water pump ~ cylinder block ~ cylinder head, intake pipe-warm air radiator ~ water pump.
